General Summary

Reporting to the Head of Analytics, the Data Analyst will play a key role in company efforts of transforming to a data-driven organization. You will leverage advanced statistical, programing and analytical skills to mine data for delivering business insights. Partnering with other analysts and business stakeholders, you will help turn these insights into actionable data-driven solutions. The Data Analyst will partner with key business stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs and implement reporting solutions. The Data Analyst will be responsible for preparing and summarizing results of solutions for business problems and present those to the business.

Responsibilities:

Use SQL, Python, R to pull data and perform analysis.

Collaborate as a strategic business partner with Sales and Marketing teams, steering key initiatives to ensure the realization of goals and objectives.

Create and deliver comprehensive dashboards, analyses, datasets, and reports to empower Sales and Marketing leaders with actionable insights, thus uncovering avenues for enhancement.

Creates and improves reporting on KPI’s for the Sales & Marketing teams.

Develops a deep end-to-end understanding of data strategy, structure and overall use within the business.

Work with the Director of Sales Operations & Merchant Experience & other business partners to design and deploy workflow management strategies by meticulously scrutinizing trends, performance metrics, and market dynamics to bolster operational efficiency across the entire sales & marketing organization.

Interface with the various information technology groups, as needed, for source-to-target mappings and reporting interfaces.

Apply data science methodologies, such as predictive modeling and machine learning, to uncover hidden patterns in sales and marketing data, facilitating more accurate forecasting and targeted campaigns when applicable.

Perform analysis and provide recommendations with the aim of improving KPIs for improving Sales Operations.

Present analytical results and ML/AI solutions to key business stakeholders.

Design A/B testing scenarios to allow for objective measurements for improving business decisions and outcomes.

Use Tableau, Python, and/or R to automate monitoring of reports/metrics

Undertake additional duties that contribute to the efficient execution of responsibilities as directed by the Head of Analytics or the Employer.


Requirements:

SQL

R/Python

3+ years of experience in an analytical role or equivalent combination of degree and work experience.

Understanding of statistical modeling techniques and ML/AI algorithms

Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Self-starter and ability to work autonomously.

Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at the same time.

Very strong analytical skills to identify trends & patterns in datasets and interpret, synthesize, and communicate insights.

Working knowledge of Excel

Desired knowledge/skills:

Knowledge of consumer finance

Experience with a CRM

Data Lake and AWS experience

Working knowledge of Salesforce

Proficient in BI reporting platforms: Microsoft Power BI, Tableau

Qualifications:

Education: Master's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, MIS, Data Science, Economics, or a related field or equivalent combination of degree and work experience.

Must meet minimum technical requirement to work remotely.

Satisfactory background and credit check required.

Compensation:

Salary Range: $95k - $125k annually.
