At EasyPay Finance, we're committed to respecting your privacy. This Privacy Notice is designed to describe to you the basis for the personal data we collect from you, or that is provided by you as part of our recruitment process.
First of all, we use Breezy HR, a web-based hiring platform, to assist in our recruiting process. As part of that process Breezy HR will be processing the personal information you've shared in accordance with EasyPay Finance instructions.
When you apply for a job posted by us, the information we collect / you provide is used to determine whether or not you're a good fit for current and future roles at our company.
We'll hold on to your data for up to 24 months and if it turns out we'd like to keep it around longer, we'll reach out to you for consent first.
Lastly, if at any point you'd like us to remove the information we've collected or share it with you, just let us know.
Employee Privacy Policy
Welcome to EasyPay Finance.
Protecting your privacy and safeguarding your personal and financial information is one of our priorities, and we are committed to protecting your personal information. Please read this privacy policy (the “Policy”) carefully to understand our collection, use, and disclosure of the personal information of job applicants, employees, contractors, owners, directors, officers, and anyone else engaged to act on behalf of EasyPay Finance (“EasyPay” or “Company”) who are California residents (“Employees”).
This Policy may change from time to time, so please check this site each time you use it for the most current information. This Policy was last updated on December 31, 2024. Unless otherwise stated, any future modifications to this Policy will go into immediate effect after we have provided it to you. Your continued Employee relationship with us following any such changes will constitute your agreement to the modified Policy.
Notice at Collection
We collect the categories of personal information as described in this Policy under the “What Information EasyPay Finance Collects About You” section below for the purposes described under the “How We Use Information” section below. We retain your personal information as described under the “Retention” section below. We do not sell or share your personal information.
Your Consent
By entering into an Employee relationship with us, you consent to this Policy and represent that you are 18 years of age or older. By consenting to this Policy, you also agree to any other applicable agreements that govern the Employee relationship, including our Terms of Use, Insperity, Inc.’s Terms of Use, and Breezy’s Terms of Use , and Insperity’s California Privacy Notice , which also govern your Employee relationship with us and which is incorporated by reference into this Policy.
Collecting, Using, and Disclosing Information
Unless otherwise described in this Policy, the types and categories of information we may collect from or about you as an Employee and our use and disclosure of any such information are described below. We may also collect personal information about an Employee’s spouse, dependents, beneficiaries, emergency contacts, and other individuals relevant to Employee.
What Information EasyPay Finance Collects About You
EasyPay Finance collects personally identifiable information (PII or personal information) and non-personally identifiable information (NPI). PII is defined as information that directly identifies an individual. NPI is defined as information about an individual that does not identify you individually. We collect PII and NPI about Employees in primarily these ways: directly from you or in-person interactions and from other third parties, such as recruiting companies, background check providers, or references. We may also collect personal information from advertising networks, Internet service providers, data analytics providers, government entities, operating systems and platforms, social networks, or data brokers.
We collect the following categories of PII:
Identifiers, such as name, date of birth, government issued identification cards and numbers, Social Security numbers.
Personal information, such as contact information, address, telephone number, email address, and financial information like bank or payment card account number.
Characteristics of protected classifications, such as family information (e.g., marital status, relevant information on spouse/dependents); benefits information (e.g., wellness information, COBRA information, healthcare plan information, insurance information); disability claims records (e.g., workers’ compensation records and disability claims records); medical reports or records (e.g., pre-employment drug tests, medical benefits-related documentation); or certain physical characteristics (e.g., age, disability, race, color, gender).
Internet or network activity information, such as your username and password, browsing history, and interactions with our company systems.
Geolocation data.
Audio, electronic, and similar information, such as call recordings, the content of video interviews and conferences, and security cameras.
Professional or employment-related information, such as personal information found on a resume or CV, work history, prior employers, employment history, employment verification information, promotions, service dates, training information, length of service, compensation, tax information, bank account data, current department/position, employment status, job performance, attendance records, disciplinary actions, recordings of customer servicing calls, relocation information, employee development information, payroll information, or other employment-related information.
Education information, such as resume and application information, education verification information, level of education, degrees received, certifications, etc.
Inferences drawn from any of the personal information listed above to create a profile about, for example, your individual preferences, characteristics, psychological trends, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, intelligence, abilities, and aptitudes, such as inferences about your job performance, disciplinary determinations, or professional development.
Sensitive personal information, such as your Social Security Number, driver’s license number, state identification card number, passport number, citizenship or immigration status, racial or ethnic origin, account log-in, financial account, debit card, or credit card number in combination with any required security or access code, password, or credentials allowing access to an account, citizenship, or immigration status.
Commercial information, including records of personal property; products or services purchased, obtained, or considered; or other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies.
How We Use Your Information
We use your PII and NPI primarily for a variety of business purposes relating to your Employee relationship with us:
Human resource purposes, such as processing job applications, administering benefits, processing payroll, conducting analytics, or managing other aspects of an employment relationship including, but not limited to, the establishment, maintenance, and termination of employment relationships.
Determining eligibility of initial employment, including verification of references and qualifications and processing background checks of new applicants.
Managing the terms and conditions of employment, such as payment of wages/salary, direct deposit authorization, the provision and administration of benefits and leaves of absence, and maintenance of emergency and beneficiary contact information.
Process employment-related claims, such as worker compensation and insurance claims.
For work-related incidents, which may include investigating and addressing injuries, and other employment-related actions.
For health-related reasons, including providing a safe work environment and administer our occupational safety and health programs.
For professional development purposes, including administering our training programs and submission of registration, training, or education information to regulatory bodies.
For immigration purposes, including to assist you with obtaining immigration or work documentation, when required.
Maintaining directories of Employees.
For employee-related programs, including surveys and voluntary programs.
For corporation transactions, such as transferring personal information in the event we sell or transfer, or are considering selling or transferring, all or a portion of our business or assets.
Auditing for compliance purposes.
Helping to ensure security and integrity to the extent the use of the Employee's personal information is reasonably necessary and proportionate for these purposes.
Debugging to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality.
Short-term, transient use, including, but not limited to, non-personalized advertising shown as part of an Employee's current interaction with Company, provided that the Employee's personal information is not disclosed to another third party and is not used to build a pro-file about the Employee or otherwise alter the Employee's experience outside the current interaction with Company.
Performing services on behalf of Company, including maintaining or servicing accounts, providing services, verifying information, processing payments, providing storage, or providing similar services on behalf of Company.
Providing advertising and marketing services, except for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Undertaking internal research for technological development and demonstration.
Undertaking activities to verify or maintain the quality or safety of a service or device that is owned, manufactured, manufactured for, or controlled by the Company, and to improve, upgrade, or enhance the service or device that is owned, manufactured, manufactured for, or controlled by the Company.
Complying with federal, state, or local laws or regulations, or to comply with a court order or subpoena to provide information.
Complying with a civil, criminal, or regulatory inquiry, investigation, subpoena, or summons by federal, state, or local authorities.
Cooperating with law enforcement agencies concerning conduct or activity that the Company, service providers, or third parties reasonably and in good faith believe may violate federal, state, or local law.
Cooperating with a government agency request for emergency access to an Employee's personal information if a natural person is at risk or danger of death or serious physical injury.
Exercising or defending legal claims.
For any other compliance, fraud prevention, and legal purposes, including to maintain the security of our clients, Employees, and property; to respond to court orders, legal proceedings, subpoenas, and government requests; or to detect, prevent, and respond to actual or potential fraud or security incidents, illegal activities, or intellectual property infringement.
To respond to, communicate with, or notify you, including to send you notices, updates, alerts, and other work-related messages.
For diversity, equity, and inclusion (“DEI”) purposes, including to administer our DEI program and initiatives.
Any commercial purposes, including any purpose to advance your commercial or economic interests, such as by inducing you to buy, rent, lease, join, subscribe to, provide, or exchange products, goods, property, information, or services, or enabling or effecting, directly or indirectly, a commercial transaction.
For purposes that you have otherwise consented to.
For any other legitimate business purposes in furtherance of the Employee relationship.
EasyPay Finance only uses or discloses sensitive personal information for these purposes and as permitted under applicable law, and such use or disclosure is reasonably necessary and proportionate for those purposes. EasyPay does not use your sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
Use of Cookies and Tracking User Traffic
EasyPay uses cookies and other tracking technologies. We do not respond to web browser ‘do not track’ signals.
We may use Google Analytics to generate statistical and other information about our Employee’s use of our Company sites. We, or our third-party vendors, may collect personal information about your online activities over time when you use our Company sites, including but not limited to Breezy HR and Insperity, Inc.
You may have the ability to accept or decline cookies using your web browser settings. If you choose not to accept cookies from the Company sites, you may not be able to utilize our Company sites to perform your Employee responsibilities.
How We Protect Your Information
EasyPay uses industry- standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption on all web pages where sensitive personal information, including Social Security numbers and banking information, are collected. To log onto our Company sites, you must use an SSL-enabled browser. This type of browser helps protect the confidentiality of your personal information while it is transmitted over the Internet, although no internet site can claim to be 100% secure.
How We Disclose Your Information
EasyPay may disclose any or all of the above categories of personal information to third parties for any or all of the above business purposes, including disclosures to:
Service Providers, such as third parties that provide services on our behalf or help us operate our business, including services relating to payroll, benefits, background checks, recruiting, hosting, analytics, email delivery, and database management.
Professional advisors, such as lawyers, auditors, and insurers, when necessary.
For compliance, fraud prevention, and legal purposes, such as in response to a subpoena, regulatory investigation, or court order.
In connection with a business transfer, such as in connection with a corporate divestiture, merger, consolidation, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, or in the event of bankruptcy or dissolution.

We do not sell the personal information of our Employees except as described in this Policy unless we provide you with notice and a right to opt-out of such sale. We do not have any knowledge of the sale or share (as such terms is defined under California law) of personal information of Employees under 16 years of age.
We do not share your PII for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Employee Rights
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, Employees that are California residents have the right to:
Request that a business delete any personal information about the Employee which the business has collected from the Employee.
Request that a business disclose the following:
The categories of personal information that it has collected about that Employee.
The categories of sources from which the personal information is collected.
The business or commercial purpose for collecting, selling, or sharing personal information.
The categories of third parties with whom the business discloses personal information.
The specific pieces of personal information it has collected about that Employee.
Direct a business that sells personal information about the Employee to third parties not to sell the Employee’s personal information.
Direct a business that shares personal information about the Employee to third parties not to share the Employee’s personal information.
Request that a business correct any inaccurate personal information about the Employee which the business maintains about the Employee.
Direct that a business limit the use and disclosure of the Employee’s sensitive personal information.

EasyPay will not discriminate or retaliate against you if you choose to exercise any of your rights as described in this section.
Retention
We retain your PII for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Please note that in many situations we must retain all, or a portion, of your PII to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, to protect against fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal activity, or for another one of our business purposes.
